Welcome to my photography blog! I'm currently a student at the University of South Carolina, studying to get my BFA in Studio Art-Photography. I enjoy being able to take snapshots of the beauty that surrounds me and to capture little moments in people's lives. Photography is my passion.

Introducing the Wyss family.

Pastor Antoine Wyss is the campus pastor for the NE campus of The Harvest, which is the church I attend. I attend. This family is AWESOME! Pastor Antoine is a Swiss native and has so many stories from his childhood, and his wife, Krissi, is one of the most loving people I have every met.  The girls are all absolutely precious and all three of them are entirely different. I loved finishing off my 2012 with this shoot!

Hope y’all enjoy & Happy New Year!

A week before Christmas I got to shoot Alexis and Donte. I actually never met the couple before the shoot but despite that, they seemed really comfortable and both of them are very photogenic, which always makes my job easier. They are a great couple and I really wish the best to them!

Hope you enjoy & Happy New Year!

The other week, Katelyn asked me if I would just do a quick, surprise shoot for her parents. I couldn’t post these photos until after she gave them away as presents, so they’re a little overdue. This family is precious, so glad I got the chance to shoot them!

Hope you enjoy & Happy New Year!

My first attempt at newborn photography. Hey, I thought I would try something new!

I have to be honest, it wasn’t as easy as I was hoping it would be, but it did make it easier with it being my nephew. Hopefully I will be able to get a little more practice with this new area of photography I’m “stepping in.”

Hope y’all enjoy them!

Man, I can’t seem to be able to keep up with all these photos…but they always say, “better late than never!”

Last Friday I got to shoot Miss. Callie. I have literally watched this young lady grow up. I think we’ve been involved in the same youth group for like 5 years…? Yeah, a long time. Callie graduates this upcoming spring and is planning on attending The University of South Carolina. She is an amazing lady, and I am so thankful that I got to shoot her senior photos.

Thanksgiving Eve I got to shoot Kristin and Zach D. They both actually help out with the youth and college group I am apart of, so I was super excited and humbled when they asked me to shoot their photos. These people are awesome, believe me! They are truly a couple that is full of love and joy, which I think translates into their photos.

Congrats on two years, and here is to a lifetime more!

Firstly, I cannot believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Good grief, this year is flying by! Secondly (and the reason for this post), this past Friday I got the opportunity to shoot Megan L. and her son, Hunter. I was really in this ‘artistic’ kick, and because Megan is awesome, she really just let me go crazy. Here are just a few of my many favorites. I hope y’all enjoy them!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Just a few photographs I took of my older brother and his family.

In small-town U.S.A., just about every one looks forward to the annual State Fair. Even if you don’t like the rides, you are looking forward to the sand sculpture, the art work, the farm animals, ok let’s not lie…you just want a lemonade and an elephant ear. Well, this is year I got to go with my family, it was an awesome time AND my two nephews and I got to ride the Elephant. Yeah, that’s right, this girl has ridden an elephant. As the sun set and the famous Carolina crescent moon arose, the fair ride lights caught my photographer eye. Hope you enjoy a few photos!

This past weekend two of my college group leaders, Paige and Jody, got hitched! They are both amazing, lovely people. Both have such a burning passion for the Lord and are great role models for both the youth and college group. The wedding was beautiful and full of such a joy. It was a grand time and I’m so thankful I got a few photographs.
